Kachelofen ceramic tile heaters are beautifully designed masterpieces of architecture, a distinctive focal point
in any room. Warm, inviting and energy-efficient, these elegant and artistic stoves have been enjoyed by European
families for over 1,000 years. They may be customized to suit your lifestyle, tastes and needs, whether used as an
architectural centerpiece or as a pleasing enhancement for more intimate family settings.
As an architectural focal point, Kachelofens possess unrivaled appeal, whether in an intimate family
room or entertaining area or even in public gathering places such as art galleries, restaurants and resorts.
Cozy warmth, great fireside view - Kachelofens are easy to operate, clean and require little attention. Though the flames are visible, these stoves are safe and healthy - no open fire or fumes - and tiles never get too hot to touch. In fact, a comfortable seating area is often an integral part of the design.
And, unlike wood stoves or fireplaces, Kachelofens offer consistently warm radiant heat, insuring even distribution of warmth throughout the room.
Kachelofens are efficient, environmentally friendly and fueled by wood, a renewable energy source.
Kachelofens are a proven technology, much beloved for centuries by European families.

Kachelofens use the same principle as a rechargeable battery. Wood is burned in an insulated fire chamber. Combustion
gases pass through a set of smoke channels before being released into the chimney. Radiant heat is extracted from the smoke
gases and stored in the tiled shell. The heat is evenly and efficiently radiated into a room for several hours to an entire
day after the fire has gone out. In some heater designs convection heat is quickly generated by room air warmed by flowing
around the fire chamber inside the tiled shell.
